Mouse pad and wrist support

May 2nd, 2009 No Comments

I made my own today! I’ve been working on a Purse Swap for Craftster, but ran out of coordinating thread. I worked on some of the fillers for the swap last night, but was still feeling crafty today. Instead of dragging the kids with me to the store, I made myself a matching mouse pad and wrist support. I’ll run to the store for thread when hubby is home so he can watch the kids for me.

I kind of used this tutorial but changed it up a little. I cut my fabric about 1/2″ larger on all sides and tucked it between the 2 pieces of interfacing then top stitched 1/8″ around the whole thing. The wrist support I did according to the tutorial, filling with as much rice as I liked.
